Firefox Reaches 400 Million Downloads

Mozilla’s exceptional web browser, Firefox [review], reached a major milestone yesterday - 400 million downloads in less than three years. That’s quite an achievement considering that quite a few people are completely unaware that there is any web browser out there other than Internet Explorer.

By delivering a high quality product, exceptional support for web standards, and an unmatched library of extensions and plug-ins, Firefox is currently being used on approximately 120 million computers. Let’s hope that number continues to grow.
