Mozilla Unleashes a (Hot) Fuzzer

In an attempt to make Firefox and other Mozilla software even better than it already is, Mozilla has decided to unleash fuzzers (and no, I didn’t know what a fuzzer was either) designed to allow enthusiasts and scoundrels alike to look for holes in Mozilla’s products. But don’t worry, the tools are old and have already been used by other companies - meaning that all of the holes these tools can find should, and that’s a big “should”, already be closed. Nevertheless, let’s just hope that those who will use these tools for good will find any security flaws before the internet ruffians do.

Expect even more fuzz in the future if this round is a success.

Man, to a non-software engineer like myself, this story read like some weird April Fools gag.
